Hi there, I’m Elle and I love creating! Most anything, really …. I love to cook, bake, crochet, knit, sew, quilt, build wooden things, paint, decorate. I love it all …. then there are things I love doing less, but love when they’re done, like cleaning and organizing! Join me as I share so many things with you from making holiday decorations to having fun with your kids, it’s all here for you to enjoy!

Food

I love cooking and baking foods of all kinds, but mostly everyday, comfort type foods. Maybe that isn’t epic in your mind, but to me, when someone says “these are the best waffles I’ve ever eaten” or “can I have your recipe for your chicken taco meat?” it just makes my day — my whole heart swells with joy of making food that people love.

Clothing

Since I was a young girl, I’ve loved to crochet and sew. I have made wedding dresses and Barbie clothes, hot pads and ponchos. I recently have started to knit and am determined to learn to tat! My grandma tried to teach me when I was younger, but all I could see were her hands moving and didn’t have a clue what to actually do with the shuttle and thread. But I will learn and I’ll happily share the progress with you!

Home

Having a welcoming home has always been important to me. Not necessarily a clean home, but a welcoming one and that includes cleanliness, but also decorations that make you want to stay. I love making decorations and setting up just the right porch display with what I’ve made or gathered.

Cleaning and life hacks make life so much easier. Sometimes they are something I’ve been doing for 20 years that I share, sometimes I just learned it last week, but always, they can help you have a more productive, efficient life.
